Quick start

Design a circular ground-resting water tank to IS 3370: 8 m diameter, 3.5 m water depth, 200 mm walls, M30 concrete and Fe415 steel.

  1. Under Design Code / Country, select India.
  2. In Tank Geometry, under Tank shape, select circular. Enter Diameter 8 m, Liquid depth H 3.5 m and Freeboard 0.3 m.
  3. In Materials & Detailing, choose Concrete grade M30 (30 MPa) and Steel grade Fe415 (415 MPa).
  4. Enter Wall thickness 200 mm, Base thickness 300 mm and Clear cover 45 mm, and pick Bar diameter 12 mm.
  5. Set Exposure class to Severe (0.2 mm).
  6. Select Run Design.

Inputs

Outputs and exports

  • Exports: report PDF and Excel, calculation report PDF, BoQ PDF, DXF. FEM analysis is metered.
