IFC, BCF

Open Building Viewer

Open it at /civiltechstudio/archviz/app. Status: beta.

Quick start

Open the bundled two-storey sample office, cut its ground-floor plan and measure one long outer wall, which should read 12.0 m.

  1. Open the BIM workspace and select Sample project. The Model Viewer opens and loads the office’s architecture and MEP models.
  2. In the right-hand rail, select Plans, then Ground Floor. The model is cut 1.2 m above the floor and shown from above.
  3. Select Dimension in the bottom toolbar. It opens on Length with Free selected.
  4. Click the two outer corners of one of the long external walls. The points snap to vertices and edges.
  5. Select Add Issue, type a Title such as Long wall length check, then select Create issue. The current view is attached to the issue as its viewpoint.
